When you right click on the name of a map that you have already opened, you can carry out the following operations:
• Close map: To close the map associated to this context menu.
• View borders of all maps: This option shows you the borders of all the maps that you have available in your PC.
NOTE: Land/Air will only contemplate the maps you have stored in the folder you predetermined in the folders section when programming the Configuration options.
• Select active folder for map borders: This option allows you to choose which is the folder you want to use to draw the map borders. This option can be used when the previous option is activated. The initial folder will be the folder at the top of the list in the Map folder field, which you will find in the Folder section of the Configuration options. You will be able to choose between all the folders in the list.
• Send map to Pocket: This option allows you to transfer the selected map to the sister program.
• Multimaps, advanced…: This section gives you access to the following options.
• Transparent view: A smaller window will open when you activate this option. This window allows you to specify the degree of transparency of the data tree with respect to the window underneath it.
• Establish as primary: This option allows you to establish a certain map as the primary map. As a result, if a calibration conflict arises, the other maps will adapt themselves to the primary map. (this only affects very large or very distant maps).
• Bring forward: This option moves the selected map on top of all the other maps, so it is not covered by any of them.
• Send behind: This option lowers the selected map to the next layer down.
• List of maps in the memory: To access the list of maps.
• Revise map calibration: The access to this option even when other maps are open.
• Edit vectorial map: To open the vectorial edition bar.
• Save map as: This option allows you to save the map choosing the name and the folder.
• Layer administrator: To access this vectorial map tool.
• Move map calibration: Introduce an x and a y value to alter the map’s calibration.
• Zoom here: To place the selected map on the screen.
• Map properties: To open the properties window of the selected map.
• Tiles layout (mosaic maps): The grid which displays the layout of a mosaic map made up of tiles can be enabled from:
• Toolbar: 'Show tiles layout' button
• Map window: 'Contextual menu > Show tiles layout'
• Data tree: 'Map > IMP map file > Contextual menu > Show tiles layout'
• Data tree: 'Map > IMP map file > List of tiles > Contextual menu > Show tiles layout'
The user can also multiselect tiles on map, and even send them to device.
NOTE: In a map made up of tiles (mosaic), only the availabe tiles are drawn on the grid. Instead of having all tiles mixed, they can be organized in subfolders inside RTMAP general directory.
