This tool is similar the previous one but instead of the software automatically opening the map with the best resolution, Land/Air offers you the possibility of choosing the map amongst the maps available in your map file. Read chapter ‘Configurating working folders’ to establish where Land/Air will seek for the maps available for use.
To open a map using this method, follow these steps:
1. Open any reference (track, map, waypoint…) you like onto the empty screen.
2. Right click with the mouse on the point where you want the map; you can click on the track, on the map or even on the empty screen.
3. In the window that opens, click on the function ‘See list of maps for this point’. Land/Air will show you all the maps loaded for the point you have chosen, ordered in meters > pixels.
NOTE: If you click with the right-hand button of the mouse anywhere on the screen you will be given the option to draw borders of all maps. Land/Air will show you the borders of the available maps.
