The function allows you to import landscapes made by other manufacturers that are not calibrated well enough, with incorrect datum information or a faulty projection. If you want to import these landscapes and correct their errors, proceed as follows:
1. Select the menu option ‘Landscapes > Import 3D landscape’.
2. In the new window, choose the landscape that you want to open. Land/Air allows you to open *.TXT, *.DTM y *.FIL formats (all *.CDEM formats).
3. The data correction window will open, here you will find the option ‘Coordinates & Datum’, and you can choose if you want to correct the projection and/or the datum.
4. When the correction has been made click ‘OK’ and ‘Save it’ with a new name in the folder:
•Windows: ‘Documents\CompeGPS\Maps’
•Mac: ‘Documents\CompeGPS\Maps’
