8.2.3   Save a track

 

There are two ways of saving a track:

 

     Save a track: This the fast way to save a track. You will not be asked for the name or format of the track and it will overwrite the previous track.

 

     Save track as: This option also allows you to choose the format in which you want to save the track.

 

To ‘Save’ a track, proceed as follows:

 

1.   Click on any part of the track with the right-hand button of the mouse. The context menu that appears offers you several different options.

 

2.   Select the option: ‘Save track’. If it is the first time that you are saving this track, Land/Air will ask you the name you want to assign to the file you are about to save.

 

3.   Write the name of the file and select the folder where you want to store it.

 

4.   Click on the button ‘Save’.

 

To use the ‘Save as’ option, proceed as follows:

 

1.   Click on any part of the track with the right-hand button of the mouse. The context menu that appears offers you several different options.

 

2.   Select the option ‘Save track as’.

 

3.   Write the name of the file and select the folder where you want to store the track.

 

4.   Select the format that you want to use for the track choosing from the option ‘Type’: *.TRK or *.IGC.

 

5.   Click on the button ‘Save’.
