There are several ways to select a certain section of a track. You can select it using the altitude graph or indicating the beginning and the end of the subtrack. To select a subtrack using the altitude graph:
1. Open the altitude graph of the track.
• Click on the button on the tool bar.
• Select the track context menu option ‘Graphs’.
2. Use the left-hand button to click on the point of the track that you want to be the beginning of the subtrack, and continue holding the button while you drag the mouse to the last point of the subtrack.
To select a subtrack using the track context menu:
1. Use the right-hand button of the mouse to click on the departure point of the subtrack that you want to analyse. The track context menu will appear.
2. Select the menu option ‘Subtrack > Situate here start of subtrack’ from the track context menu.
3. Use the right-hand button to click on the last point of the subtrack that you are selecting.
4. Select the menu option ‘Subtrack > Situate here end of subtrack’ from the track context menu. You will see how the subtrack is marked and selected.
To select a subtrack by clicking on the track: Select the initial and final point of the subtrack by clicking with the left hand button of the mouse and with the ‘Shift’ button on the keyboard held down.
