The communication between Land and other GPS depends on the type of connection used by your GPS and its connectivity protocols. Most GPS do not require any prior configuration as they are automatically mounted as a mass storage. In some cases it may be done via serial port, in these cases you will need to configure the communication. Follow these steps to establish a connection between the two devices:
1. Connect your GPS to the computer.
IMPORTANT: If your device is connected using a serial port, you should configure it from: 'Main menu > Options > Device'.
2. Land will automatically detect the device and show it as a new disc drive in ‘Data tree > Devices > GPS’.
3. Under the device name, you will see several themed folders (maps/waypoints/routes). These are the files stored on your device.
NOTE: Folders name may vary according different GPS brands.
4. From now on you can transfer files between the two devices.
• From the data tree: Locate the file you want to transfer in the data tree and drag it to the destination folder. Transfer several files at once by pressing the ‘Control’ key while selecting them. Land will automatically transfer the file(s) you selected to the desired folder.
• From the context menu: Locate the file you want to transfer in the data tree or in the map window and open the context menu over the element. Then select ‘Send to’ and choose the destination.

IMPORTANT: If no connection could be established, it may be due to GPS protocols not recognized by Land. In such situation, TwoNav would be grateful to receive your feedback and let us know about your problem at http://Support.TwoNav.com. Hopefully we will be able to update compatibility with your GPS.
