This bar allows you to add shortcuts to the elements you use the most (maps/waypoints/routes/sets…). Same elements are also accessible from the data tree.
If you want to add any maps/waypoints/routes/sets to the favorites bar, you just have to drag the element from the data tree and drop it at the favorites bar.
