You can increase GPS autonomy by replacing the standard battery of the device with the AA battery accessory. This accessory replaces the lithium-ion battery with common use AA batteries. You can buy such batteries at any store.
•AA batteries type: Set the type of battery you are using in your device, so that TwoNav can properly estimate the battery level. Use alkaline, lithium or NiMH batteries. Battery life will vary depending on the battery type and model.
IMPORTANT: The GPS will not start automatically when connected via USB while connected to the battery adapter. To transfer data to a computer, connect the USB cable and then turn on the device. If the device reboots repeatedly when you turn it on, this means that the batteries are fully depleted and should be replaced. Remove the batteries from the adapter when not connected to the GPS. If the polarity is wrong, the adapter could be disabled for safety reasons. The device does not recharge rechargeable batteries.
